The latest news from inside the women and girls programme.

Brighton & Hove Albion women’s manager James Marrs says his players are relishing the prospect of this Sunday’s SSE Women’s FA Cup tie against Sporting Club Albion, kick-off 2pm.The Seagulls manager is expecting a tough test from the West Bromwich-based side* in a bid to get to the last eight of the competition.
He said, “It’s a game that we can definitely win and we’re hoping to get into the quarter-finals. After that, you never know what could happen.
“With what we’ve seen and the resources we’ve had to research, they will probably provide us with the most physical test we’ve had so far.
“They are organised and it could end up being difficult trying to break them down.
“We could be hit on the counter-attack, which is something that they’re very good at.”
Marrs is now eager to reach the latter stages of the competition and potentially cause even more upsets, after a 10-0 win over WSL 2 side Oxford in round three.
“It’s all about the magic of the cup. It’s definitely possible, it just depends on the draw that you get, as we know there’s another all WSL2 tie [Aston Villa v Everton].
“If we do the business and get the win, then fingers crossed we can cause a massive shock and get to the semi-finals of the cup.”
The game takes place at the Sussex County FA HQ, Culver Road, Lancing, BN15 9AX. Entry to the game is just £3 for adults, £1 for under-16s and FREE for Brighton & Hove Albion season-ticket holders.
Albion fans attending Saturday’s first-team game at MK Dons can also gain FREE entry to Sunday’s women’s first-team match at Culver Road the next day. Fans will be able to enter the turnstiles at no charge when showing proof of their ticket stubs.
