Well? You can't all have been asleep, surely?

Driving home from work just after 3:15 this morning, when the whole sky flashed green for a split second and a bright white light appeared over towards the west. I actually flinched in my seat and found myself looking around me, thinking a plane had crashed.

This is what it turned out to be. Pretty cool, no (for those of us of a geeky persuasion)?

I didn't see it but some strange new plants have appeared in a friends garden. He sent me this pic from his phone but I can't seem to reach him any more ... just popping over to investigate.
