Premier League and FA Cup semi finalists. Both lesser supported clubs, both struggled to get 14000 to pay to watch them in the Championship. Brighton will probably lose in the play offs. When will Brighton get success?

If I can pluck some thing worthwhile from the OP, it's that in a weird way he's right. If we get up, and even if we don't we're still a top 6 Championship club these days, we should be aiming for doing well in the cup competitions. The FA cup should be a realistic prospect for any prem club these days, more so than the old days.

With the academy etc, we are truly building for the long, sustainable game. In the not-too-distant future, I firmly believe that we will get promoted to the PL. Furthermore, when we do, we'll be really well equipped to thrive.

People slag off WCP but are quite happy to ignore the ramblings of gimps like Ernest, Easy10 et al. It's essentially the same thing when you think about it.

An amazing stadium, a category a academy, over 20,000 fans every home game even though they are in the championship and a manager who doesn't embarrass himself and the team every time a decision doesn't go his way. When will Palace get that

Most posters can have the occasional decent post. WCP bangs the same drum* on and on and on until it is very very boring. At least he has stopped posting average attendance figures for Palace and Brighton (but only since the Amex).

We'll just stick with prem football and a very possible FA Cup final appearance( that'll be one more than you) for the time being.
