Brighton & Hove Albion women manager James Marrs, is putting faith in the younger members of his squad when they face Crawley Wasps in the Sussex Challenge Cup Final tonight, kick-off 7.15pm.The final comes just four days after the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League Cup and Marrs thinks the game could come at the right time for the squad.James Marrs
He told seagulls.co.uk, “Sometimes when you play again straight after a defeat, it helps you to erase that, so we’ll be looking to correct what went wrong at the weekend.
“The younger players should be hungry and looking to try and get into the first-team squad.”
“It’s nice to be involved in finals. It’s an evening game, which adds to the atmosphere a little bit, and I’m hoping that there’ll be players wanting to prove me wrong and rectify their mistakes from the weekend.
"It’ll be a good experience for them and hopefully they can handle the occasion.”

The Seagulls manager is urging Albion fans to turn up in their droves on the night and was eager to dismiss their favourites tag going into the game.“We want to retain it after winning the competition last year, and will hopefully get lots of support at Culver Road tonight.”
"The cup final is a one-off game and on paper we’ll be expected to win, but we won’t be approaching the game like that.”
“Crawley Wasps will give it everything; they’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain, so it should be an interesting tie.”
Admission to tonight’s game is priced at £5 for adults (17+), £3 for concessions (65+ and students with a valid ID card) and free for children under-16.
