It's not games like tonight that have cost us automatic promotion...

It's the failure to put away woeful teams such as Bolton and Wolves earlier in the season. Wednesday came with a gameplan to get a point and executed it perfectly. Kayal was a miss but still don't think we'd have managed to break them down. Zero shots on target is still very poor, however another clean sheet is the one positive.

All the posters on hear two months ago, saying we wouldn't get the play-offs,now,apparently we won't get automatics.

It's the Championship ffs, anything can happen. There is not one person on here, and possibly in the country who can tell which team will beat any other, that's what makes it so good.

Saying that, Burnley look good, at the moment, apart from them, it's all up in the air

Wednesday did come for a point and played the odd time wasting tactic . It was their own downfall in the end as we were there for the taking tonight

Clean sheets and nil - nils - I'm feed up with Boring Brighton.

I'd rather lose 4-1 and then win 4-0

Oh ....

Also, gotta feel for poor old Boro, I mean, WHO loses away to Rotherham? Nailed on 3 points shirley?

Ahhhm ....

'Cost us' as if we should be top two? We're having a bloody great season, unexpectedly so. 20 odd clubs who wouldn't mind being in our position right now.

It never really works out that simply, you'll lose/draw games you should win and vice versa. If we don't go up it's because we're not good enough.

Awful conditions, played a well organised team, no new injuries, Derby losing and got home to a nice warm bed, why complain?

This in spades. If you had told us at the beginning of the season (or the end of the last) that we would still be in with a shout of automatic promotion we would have bitten your hand off.

Disappointing result but we are doing well and in a good position.

Football fans are mental cases :)

When you have the squad capable of achieving promotion from this division you have to seize the opportunity. Other clubs will have always spent more money than us competing at the top.

I am suprised they came for the point being only just in the play off positions. With other teams losing they could have done well with a win. Same as us!
