Going for a slow drive round Hollingbury later possibly ?
900k people in Bromley & Croydon, almost double pop of Manchester. Bigger than Norwich & Ipswich. Fickle fans in terms of attendance, cup games increased attendance do not help.

Just listened to an interview on radio Sussex. He spoke very well of the club, his connections to it, and came across pretty sincere.

Pundit on Radio Five tonight. Said Knockart was wasteful and Baldock poor. He thought our bench was really strong and said positive things about the club. He was surprised we played Sidwell and Stephens together in midfield.

Sounds like he talked a lot of sense.

He wouldn't have been welcome a few years ago. Gus disliked him intensely and blamed him for the end of his Tottenham playing career.

He claimed he knew Bamber well and was grateful to many members of the club when one of his players had a serious leg break - he remembered many of those who helped including Dr Sless. He remembered Frankie Howard and came near to joining as manager. Seemed to have a genuine knowledge and affection for the club.

And he nearly came in as Peter Taylor (the first)'s assistant.

He could have devoted plenty of time to his hobby in the Brighton of the 70s.

Presumably Lil Fuccillo - Goldstone Wrap: ‘Evil’ Paul Clark plays ketchup

Outside Luton station the team stands to one side while the police escort the line of Brighton supporters which snakes its way past us. As they disappear down the road a chant of ‘Clark is E-vii’ goes up. Paul Clark is the young Brighton ball winner. When Albion played Luton earlier in the season Paul Fucillo’s leg was broken in a challenge with Clark.

If Clarky is wondering how the Luton fans are going to react to that incident he soon finds out. As the teams are announced over the tannoy at the ground there is mass booing at the mention of his name, and when the Brighton team emerges from the tunnel a Luton fan tips tomato sauce over his head. Just what you need before a vital promotion match.

Which is why you are my favourite poster on NSC. Accurate and up to date Albion facts, unadorned, and succinctly put. Use that as your next strapline
