..according to today's Western Daily Press.

Would that leave us short of options if Stephens/Kayal or Sidwell got injured ?

it doesn't say he's gone just they are interested, which we knew and already have a thread for

Wasnt the other thread concerning Brentford? Although, looking at it, it, Bristol interest does get a mention at the end.

There would be a recall option after 28 days - Towell would have to step up to being 4th choice before then.

IMHO Crofts is struggling at the top end of the Championship. His performance at Cardiff was poor and that is being kind. His natural level now is Div 1 and he won't play a part in any of our future plans.

Sidwell didn't cover himself in glory that day...along with a few others

Would be an odd move to let him go when we still might need him. He could help City take points off some of our rivals though.

2 April Hull City (A)
9 April Sheff Weds (H)
19 April Derby (H)

Good point but this really is a dodgy system and is wide open for tactical abuse, agent Crofts....

Agreed.

That said, teams are only ever going to loan out fringe players. If it was important by definition you are going to keep your best players.

If Crofts goes out we are left with Richie Towell to cover Kayal (2bookings from a ban) or Stephens.
Seems unlikely to me

I thought the card amnesty kicks in after the Massive game, and after that 15 is required for a ban ? ??? ???

Club unwisely lets their interest in a player go public and paper talk does not equal PLAYER MUST LEAVE CLUB or Manager wants player to leave or even go on loan or will go on loan.

It would be odd if someone of the calibre of Crofts, not currently making the squad, didn't attract interest for those seeking loans.
he will continue to do so.
It would be odder still if Hughton said yes to anyone who asked about his availability given that he's said over and over he likes having a very competitive and strong squad with 2 choices for every position. They will arrange friendlies or use the u21s to keep these players match fit as well.

Couldn't blame him for being interested.

Who WOULDN'T want to play for a club with Aaron Wilbraham up front?

The cut off for the 10 yellow cards is this Sunday, we only play once between now and then so Kayal is safe. There is the 15 yellows before the end of the season but again he'd have to go a bit mental to get 7 yellow cards in the next 11 games. The only thing that is likely to see him suspended now is a red card.

If he got two yellow cards tonight would he then be banned for reaching ten yellow cards as well as the red card sending off offence?!
