Leaving work 6pm, will that give enough time for a change at main Brighton station, to reach Falmer in time for kickoff??
Hopefully you can get on it!
The last 2 evening games I've got on at portslade and it was so packed no one could move,
Loads of fun as we pulled into hove and a woman had to get off with her bike!

Alternative option would be a No.7 bus from Hove Station to Brighton Station ( Journey time 10/15 minutes ) .

Depending on where you leave work from the No.25 direct to the Amex ( which starts from Palmeira Square ) might be a better option.

You will have plenty of time. We don't get a train from Brighton till 7.20 for night matches.

Number 7 is good. But also if getting train, use a shuttle train that only goes from hove to Brighton. These are not packed at all

We catch the 18:17 of Shoreham changing at Hove for night games and on the occasional times Southern let the shuttle train go as the London bound train is 2 minutes late at Hove we always get the bus to Brighton station instead.
