Found this photo on tinternet, this was after my first ever Albion match. We beat Birmingham City 4-1. Super Kevin Bremner scored a hat trick. His brother Des was the blues captain. Bit of a cheeky photobomb by super John Keeley! Ahh the good old days!!

It was 4-0 (Dec 31 1988).

Unless I'm very much mistaken, a new Gulls Eye had appeared for the Boxing Day clash with Palace (a 3-1 win, with Bremner also getting on the score sheet in that one). The front cover? A cartoon which had Bremner being unable to score (quite literally) in a brothel.
