It's a bit of a non story really. Due to various factors, especially the lack of international test matches and one dayers at headingly and the costs of updating the ground to make it more attractive to the broadcasters, income is not being generated and the players are paid very well. Sky like to go to the rose bowl and Durham where before they went to headingly, so they have missed out there.
I was in Huddersfield this week and bought the examiner, their version of the argus, but a million times better...there were a load of letters and articles on this and although opinion is split, the general theory is that YCC need better financial acumen on the board. I suggest El President is approached!!!
