I thought it might have been the 7-0 (6-1) v Blackpool, but that was 3-0 at HT. It's gotta be ages, hasn't it?

The 7-0 Charlton game in the 80's was 5-0 at half time.

What was the half time score when we won at Chester 6-0?

i have a recollection of a rain soaked game missus and i abandon at half time as it was 4-0 up and drenched, but i cant recall the team (played red?), sometime early-mid 00's. or a false memory.

Hove (actually)
Was it 7-1? Bloody hell my memory's going
But yeah I knew Bobby got a hat-trick so it is the same game

I can't remember the h-t score. I do remember reporting back to my mates that I wasn't convinced with my first sight of Bobby after he missed a couple more from inside the 6 yard box.

h-t score in that one 0-2 (zamora 18,21) so I think it must be the 7-0 Charlton game in 83

At the other end of the scale, wasn't the Walsall game in 76/77 0-0 at half time with us winning 7-0 ?

Remember the occasion well, was going to go to the game with a mate from work, we decided not to go because the weather was bad.

Yep - charlton game was Oct '83. 7-0 FT, 5-0 HT; Case hat trick

I was twitchy about the game. Charlton were unbeaten and flying. Cue a Jimmy Case masterclass. He was simply unstoppable. Just brushing them aside as if they didn't exist. He was involved in everything. Awesome.

I think the two legendary home wins, close together ( mid 60's )...Wisbech 10-1 and Southend 9-1 were both 3-0 at HT.

As for trailing at HT, I remember Wigan rattling in 4 very early at Withdean and the infamous Bristol Rovers defeat at the Goldstone, where we were down 5-1 at the interval.
