We surely stand a better chance with Blatter gone (and I think we would have got it in 2018 if it wasn't for the Russia stitch up). Would be great to see it here in my lifetime!

I've got to cobble on into my eighties IF we bid and win.

Fortunately I saw West Ham win it for us in 1966.

After the heat of Qatar, FIFA will probably want it held somewhere a little cooler say Siberia or Antartica in the middle of winter of course.

Fifa really need to prove they are cleaned up first before we go anywhere near a bid and I'd still consider a 2018 / 2022 boycott, come on Scotland...

I'll be 70. Guess it's plausible. Matches at the Brighton Community Stadium?

It will be tricky decide the venues. I mean just in London they will have:

Wembley
The Emirates
The Olympic Stadium
Spurs' new stadium
Chelsea's new stadium
Selhurst Park :lolol:

This is what makes England such an obvious choice for hosting the World Cup.
