Brighton & Hove Albion women are hoping for another bumper crowd this weekend, as they look to continue their impressive run in this season’s SSE Women’s FA Cup.The Seagulls welcome Blackburn Rovers to the Sussex County FA HQ at Culver Road, Lancing for a fourth round tie on Sunday, having already beaten Luton Town 7-0 and Oxford United 10-0 in the second and third rounds respectively.
James Marrs’s team are currently unbeaten in 12 games in all competitions, sit nine points clear at the top of the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division and have plundered an incredible 24 goals in their last three home outings, while conceding just one.
Blackburn represent potentially tricky opposition for Albion, with Rovers currently sitting fourth in the FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division and won 7-0 at West Ham United in the last round.
Albion fans are being encouraged to head along to Culver Road for the 1pm kick off. Entry is just £3 for adults, £1 for under-16s and free for any Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket holder.

And because Sunday also sees the Brighton Half Marathon take place, Albion are also offering free entry to anyone who attends the match if they wear their race medal – either from the main event or from any of the youth races.Gully and Sally will in attendance and there will be face painting and a penalty shoot-out competition on the pitch at half time.
Every child attending the game will be given a free raffle ticket and five lucky winners will be drawn at random prior to kick off to take part in the half-time shoot-out. They will take penalties against one of the Albion women goalkeepers –and the winner will be presented with a football signed by the entire team.
Fans will also be asked to tweet a selfie from the match using the hashtag #SeagullsSelfie with the best one receiving a signed football.
