i never understand why defenders/Bridcutt pass back at the goal. i recall being taught at school that if you must pass back you do so away from the goal, precisely so this sort of fudge up cant occur.

It's the moment of panic where the keeper decides to go to the ground to try catch it that I enjoy whenever these sort of mistakes occur.
It usually looks like the ball could be caught but sheer desparation seems to kick in instead.
