Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-21s drew 2-2 with league leaders Derby County at St George’s Park tonight.

Jack Harper and Glen Rea put Albion 2-0 in front, but a goal from Kwame Thomas and a late penalty from Callum Guy earned the Rams a point.
Charles Vernam had the first clear-cut opportunity of the game when he shot straight at Christian Walton from just outside the box.
Guy was next to test the Albion defence with a free-kick, but Walton came out to comfortably collect the ball.
Rams keeper Lee Grant then denied Harper at the far post with a fine save.
Ivan Calero saw his effort cleared off the line before Henrik Rorvik Bjordal came close with a half volley that deflected narrowly over the bar.
*
Albion broke the deadlock thanks to Harper, after his left-footed strike beat Grant after 35 minutes.
