Beram Kayal is available for his 31st game out of 32 in the Championship for Albion at Cardiff on Saturday.
The influential Israeli midfielder, who has been carrying a slight groin problem and was substituted towards the end of Tuesday's 0-0 draw at leaders Hull, has been given the all-clear for the clash in Wales (12.30).
Manager Chris Hughton told The Argus: "He is okay. He had a slight groin problem that he was able to play through. We have managed it to a degree. Certainly if he wasn't fit he wouldn't play with the options that we've got.
"It's something all players do at times. There will always be two or three playing through knocks and some problems. That's the nature of the game, so he is fine."

Hughton is hopeful of adding James Wilson, sidelined from the last two matches by a minor groin problem, to his range of attacking options.
He said: "James didn't train but he was out with our medical staff and has come through a fairly good session.
"We are very hopeful he will train tomorrow and be included in the squad.
"It has been a little bit sporadic for James overall but he has proved when he is on the pitch he can score goals. That type of individual you always want available."
Albion's longer term casualty list is also shortening after Liam Rosenior's return to the squad as an unused substitute at Hull.
Gaetan Bong is back in training, while Hughton said of captain Gordon Greer: "Gordon's trained the last few days and trained again this morning."
The bulletin on Greer's fellow centre-half, Uwe Huenemeier, is less encouraging.
Hughton said: "Uwe has taken probably a bit longer than we thought. At the moment he is still not right to take the next step forward of being very close to training with the team."
Huenemeier has been out since mid-December with groin damage. Left-back Bong (thigh) has not played since October and Greer (hamstring) has missed eight of the last nine games.
