Highlights of the 0-0 draw between Hull and Brighton in the Sky Bet Championship
Hull stretched their lead at the top of the Sky Bet Championship to two points with a 0-0 draw with Brighton in a game which was bereft of chances at the KC Stadium.
Sam Clucas had their best effort on Tuesday night when his late shot was tipped onto the bar by Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale.
Jamie Murphy had Brighton's best chance with a rising shot in the opening period as the promotion challengers had to settle for a point.
Brighton now move up a place to third following the draw - three points behind their opposition at the summit - and just one point behind Middlesbrough in second.
Hull were the first to threaten, but Lewis Dunk was able to get his head to a cross from Andy Robertson.
Brighton responded three minutes later through Steve Sidwell but the midfielder could not get his header on target from a deep free-kick by Anthony Knockaert.

With both teams looking anxious not to make a mistake, Hull's Tom Huddlestone wasted a free-kick which he lofted well over the visitors' goal with 20 minutes gone.

Huddlestone was much closer with his second effort on the half-hour as his low left-foot shot from the edge of the area was narrowly wide.
Huddlestone tried a weak shot from distance early in the second half as the visitors sat back.

A free-kick from Robert Snodgrass was headed on into a crowded penalty area by Clucas as Hull again tried to exert control.
A pinpoint pass from Jake Livermore set up a chance for Abel Hernandez but his shot from long range went high and wide as Hull again probed without success.
A chipped centre from Snodgrass straight at Stockdale was typical of the poor fare which was frustrating the home supporters in what was turning out to be a far from entertaining spectacle.
Hernandez tried a bicycle kick from the edge of the area but even that was easy for Stockdale to save to his right as the home fans became even more animated in their dislike of the entertainment on offer.

Hull had a let-off with just over 10 minutes remaining as Dunk ran from his own half to curl a shot wide of the goal.
The home side's response saw substitute Chuba Akpom head over from a Clucas corner and the winger then almost gave Hull the winning goal.
As they continued to build pressure with a series of attacks, a rising drive from Clucas was tipped onto the bar by Stockdale at full stretch and the Tigers were forced to settle for a draw.
