For €4m shouldTony think about buying them up and placing Jonesy in charge and loaning out our fringe players to get them moving up then table with the aim of promotion and a second club to help gain experience for our development squad

Apart from the fact it's against league rules to own two (English) clubs?

If that wasn't against a whole variety of rules it'd be a great plan.

We've been hearing this...Will end in tears ...for a few years ,yet here we still are.For a small club we've been on a hell of a roller coaster ride and it looks like it's going to be continuing for some time to come.
The Turkish fella is one Ziya Eden.He is president of Turkish team Kayseri Erclyesspor, who play in the Turkish 1st division. He also owns a steel company in Turkey which is worth *£500,000,00.
We're coming for you Brighton,we're coming.

Just kidding.

Is Matt Turner still there then, or does this mean a new Board?

Ignoring the fact the idea is a bit nutty and imo, ethically wrong, I dare say there are ways around the regulations should any owner wish to own two clubs? What's to stop Crawley Town being owned by Mrs Bloom or another relation or close associate?

There was a similar situation years back with Oxford Utd being owned by an owner who obviously never gained a swimming certificate for a pool length, Robert Maxwell, and his son who was 'owner' of Derby. I remember questions being asked at the time.

it wont end in tears, but unless they get another 2K fans turning up, these turks are not going to be around for long. Its just not a good business model unless you are going to be soley reliant on getting young turks in the team and selling them off for profit (which wont go back into the club)
