"He tends to try to do a wee bit too much with the ball. He likes to get forward and take on defenders, which is no bad thing, but his ball retention for me was poor.
This was in an argus article a while back after we'd just completed a deal for our enigmatic new winger. At half time, Knockaert had a 100% pass completion rate, with a high majority being forward, attack-minded passes. He seems to be producing only good, and eliminated the negatives of his game, and we are certainly reaping the benefits. This man is looking like the final piece of the puzzle we needed to fire us to promotion.
