How the hell did the defender hit the ball on to the crossbar from Bruno's shot?!

Incredibly lucky, more like. Good poistionning but it was an easy clearance that he cocked up massively.

The answer is that the football Gods have decreed that no Brighton defender shall score a goal this season. Hence the reason Bruno has had 2 shots hit the crossbar; Greer has missed the most sitting sitter ever seen at the Amex; and our delivery from corners and free-kicks has, on the whole, been gash.

His positioning was certainly good defending though I don't think even they could claim that anything after the ball reached them was intentional.

Not sure he knew anything about it, he was just lucky to be in the way, I think if he was trying to defend it most probably would've been a goal
