Once saw a mouse run across the floor of a McDonald's and hide under a customers table. Never going back in there, can't imagine what the person who had a rat run up their leg is thinking right now.

Lucky to get a refund, I would just have replaced the lost chip and told them the rat was part of the charm of the establishment and was named 'chippy' due to his liking for the twice cooked chips.
