David Cameron's ministers take biggest poll lead over Labour rivals since records began

The Conservatives have opened up a 27 point lead over Labour on which party has the better leadership team, the biggest lead since 1989, according to Ipsos Mori

When asked which of the parties has the best team of leaders to deal with the country’s problems, 43 per cent of Britons say the Conservatives, with 16 per cent choosing Labour.

This is an increase of 9 points for the Conservatives and a fall of 7 points for Labour since June 2014.

The 27-point gap is the biggest lead for the Tories since Ipsos Mori started asking the question in 1989, when Margaret Thatcher was in her pomp after winning her third election landslide.

That is like being 3-0 down after twenty minutes: time to recover but it isn't looking good...

The nightmare scenario - Jeremy Corbin PM of UK and Donald Trump President of USA.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall at their first meeting after they come to power!

what would be wrong if trump ends up as President anyway?

Good stuff, this country wasn't built on equality. If we want to continue being great we need to make sure the wealthiest are happy and providing jobs and hope they are kind enough to pay us £6 an hour so we can give it straight back to them in rent. Also keeping corporation tax low is a good job, we wouldn't want large corporations paying any more than they have to (assuming they're gracious enough to pay tax in the first place) - we all know them extra billions would only be spent on the disabled and less needy and let's be honest, they contribute **** all to our society anyway so that'd basically be setting money on fire.

WW3. The guy is a buffoon, openly criticises Mexico and China as taking American jobs, turns out his products are made in China. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Well, he's probably quite correct.Typical that people blame the Chinees for flooding the market with cheap steel then when The Wonderful Mr Trump blames them for taking American jobs, people ridicule him for saying it. Please make up your mind.
