Is your current guy an Albion fan...? If so, I applaud your subtlety!

No advice to offer on topic, I'm afraid.

The arse end of Hangleton
Can anyone please recommend a good reliable break/fix Gas Certified plumber in the Hove area? We have a number of ongoing jobs, and our current guy is good when he shows up. Sadly, he has a habit of going awol on us
Many thanks in advance

Calling @simmo - no idea if he's reliable though :p

I can recommend this guy - http://plumberbrighton.co.uk/

I believe there are at least 3 prominent posters on here who are plumbers, but I'm not sure what the collective term for them is

Pm sent. Has done a couple of jobs for us including fitting a gas hob and electric oven on Monday. He's an Albion fan.

Not them specifically as I do not know them I was answering a general question what would you call 3 plumbers.

It was said as a joke comment.

With 42 years under my belt I'm old enough to remember wiping lead joints with moleskin/tallow/clamps/blow-lamp and sticks of lead.
I once set the bottom of my dads trousers alight when he stood too close
I consider myself and son Proper Tradesmen - Stick to posting bollocks on other threads BG :moo:

Full credit to you unlike the young rip offs after a 6 week government course and call themselves plumbers. They then clip 2 plastic pipes together and call themselves tradesmen. My dad never booked any work on a Monday and kept it free to go and rectify DIY plumbers weekend exploits. He worked most Mondays. I have full credit and respect for people who have completed a full apprentership to achieve their status.
