South Africa won toss and will BAT.

South Africa Team
D Elgar, SC Cook, HM Amla, AB de Villiers*, JP Duminy, T Bavuma, Q de Kock†, KJ Abbott, M Morkel, K Rabada, DL Piedt

England Team
AN Cook*, AD Hales, NRD Compton, JE Root, JWA Taylor, BA Stokes, JM Bairstow†, MM Ali, CR Woakes, SCJ Broad, JM Anderson

De Villiers doing his best to rile up Jimmy Anderson so he'll be raring to go this morning. Should be a FIREY start.

Cook's been knocking on the door for some time, be interesting to see how he does.

His dad was one hell of a player, could have been one of the test greats if his career hadn't coincided with two decades of isolation

5 changes for SA. Shame Footitt did not get a go. 26-0.

In Chappers defence, there really is not much of a physical gap between Joburg, Centurian and Pretoria anymore. Actually that is still no defence. Carry on

Too late, guess I'll have to live with it. The important thing is I've learnt something.

Elgar gone!

Ooooo - Amla dropped

Think Bairstow should probably have left that one for Cook at 1st slip.

Pity.... Amla edges from Stokes to Cook at 1st... Bairstow just gets a fingertip to it... and it is grassed :(

54-1
