Australian left back who we were interested in before Christmas and apparently had scouts watching him lately. At 27 years old and with Bong and Rosenior coming back soon, would we need another left back? I suppose he would do as cover for Bong when he returns.

Dont forget Rosenior should never have played left back for us.

Missed him as more defensive/steady wing option when he went there didn't we... Such an unlucky injury Bong / Rosenior & March all in great form and were key...!

That is not permitted somebody speaking sense. We must not get into the same position again through injury if we wish to get to the Premier so a over/ competition for Bong is essential. We have tha with Bruno and Rosenior but Liam cannot cover everybody.

Check with Bens Grandad. He is in charge of ''Left back'' Recruitment Division

Rosenior is Hughton's number one at right mid especially in away games so would imagine we will look for a back up LB.

We.definitely missed him particularly away from home. Such an unlucky batch of injuries. Id include Lua Lua in that set too and suggest no team could lose 4 wide players all of whom could be considered first choice and in.superb form and cope any better than we have. I await BGs input with baited breath.
I do think if Meredith is a possibility we should go for it as specialist back up for Bong

I would rather have the young left back up at Walsall. Excellent player

If we don't sign cover, I expect him to drive to the Amex and demand he start ahead of Chicksen himself.

I'm sure I read somewhere about the club not wanting to sign more left backs as when fit we already have three (Bong, Rosenior and Chicksen) and then being left with the problem of unhappy players around the squad who aren't getting game time.

If we do buy Meredith, that would suggest to me that Chicksen is definitely on his way out and that Rosenior is now classed primarily as a midfielder who can operate at left back in an emergency.

If Chicksen was ever going to get a game it was recently, yet Calderon was preferred at LB.
Chicksen is not wanted I'm certain.
