Chris Hughton*has targeted a form revival at the Amex to put Albion’s promotion challenge firmly back on course.
The Seagulls stopped the rot with a first win in eight in the Championship at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
They now have three games in a row at the Amex against teams outside the top ten after a hat-trick of home defeats at the hands of Middlesbrough, Ipswich and Wolves.
Visits by Huddersfield on Saturday, Brentford on Friday February 5 and bottom club Bolton eight days later provide an opportunity to build on the victory over Rovers.

Hughton told The Argus: “You always want to be at home, there’s no doubt about that, but we are on the back of three home defeats, albeit it that two of them were decent performances, against Wolves and Ipswich.
“So we need to get back to that performance and get back to winning games at home again.”
The win at Blackburn halted a damaging sequence of one point out of 15, launched by the first home defeat of the season against table-topping Boro, after Albion’s 21-game unbeaten start.
“Maybe the tough period puts everything into perspective,” Hughton said. “We had a really outstanding run and it’s only probably when you have the defeats you realise how good it was.
“But it’s difficult to sustain that and so the fact we lost a few games is not a massive surprise but you need to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible and hopefully we can start a good run again.”
Victory over Huddersfield would lift Albion back up to third as the two sides immediately above them, Burnley and Derby, face each other at Turf Moor on Monday night.
Albion’s under-21s were beaten 1-0 by Brentford yesterday in a friendly behind closed doors.
Kazenga LuaLua, and Richie Towell featured for the Seagulls, together with Jack Harper, James Tilley, Glen Rea and Christian Walton.
Andy Gogia scored the decisive goal for Brentford just before half-time.
