Albion*boss Chris Hughton insists he has no regrets about keeping faith with Lewis Dunk following his latest howler.
The centre-half’s attempted clearance after slipping inside the area fell to Danny Ward to volley Rotherham ahead in last night’s 2-0 defeat in South Yorkshire.
Dunk has now given away three goals and received a reckless red card in the last seven matches, none of which Albion have won.

Hughton told The Argus: “It’s a defensive mistake by us and it has given the lad an opportunity to score.
“We have three central defenders at this moment. Two of them (Gordon Greer and Connor Goldson) are predominantly right-sided and Dunky’s general level of performance has not been bad.
“Unfortunately for him you can go through periods of time when you get away with things but at the moment when we make a mistake we are getting punished.”
Bruno also blundered late on with a misplaced header to gift Matt Derbyshire relegation-threatened Rotherham’s second goal.
Albion, top when they last won in early December, have dropped to sixth after seven Championship games without a win.
They have also now failed to score for six matches in a row in all competitions for only the fourth time in their history and for the first time since 1970.
The closest they came was a stoppage time header against a post by Beram Kayal from debutant Anthony Knockaert’s free-kick.
