It's a surprise for us, but we've got to come through this together."

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Dale Stephens says the team will bounce back from a sticky patch, after a frustrating 2-0 defeat to Rotherham last night. The Albion midfielder admitted that the team put in a below-par display against the Millers, and says the squad will focus on getting back to the basics of hard work.
He said, "It's really disappointing; we've hit a bad patch at just the wrong time, but everyone is sticking together and we're going to work through it.
"We have had a few defeats and a few good performances recently, but that wasn't the case last night. I had the best chance of the game and it was one I should've dealt with better.
"In the last couple of games against Wolves and Ipswich, we had a lot of the ball and created a lot of chances, but last night was a bit different. It's a surprise for us, but we've got to come through this together.
"We need to simplify things. We've had individual mistakes recently, but also if you don't score goals then you're not going to win games."

Stephens remains optimistic that the side can turn a corner, ahead of another tough game away at Blackburn on Saturday."There are no excuses and we don't want to make them, we're looking for a way to put this behind us and it starts on Saturday.
"The squad is looking stronger, the injured players have come back and Anthony [Knockaert] has come in, but we need to improve and put this run behind us.
"We're expecting another tough game, but we’ve got to apply ourselves and not replicate what we did last night.
"We've not scored a crazy number of goals this season, but we were strong defensively and we need to get back to that."
