Anyone know anything about midweek football programmes in northern europe ?
I'm thinking of having a couple of days away and catching a game somewhere. Would prefer it not to be Champions League.

If you get an App called flash score then you can go through each day of the calendar and see the football fixtures pretty much anywhere in the world. For instance I can tell you that if you were in Bahrain tonight there are 4 rounds of domestic cup fixtures starting at 3:15pm our time.

If you fancy seeing some lower level football you could jump on the Eurostar to Brussels and watch Union Saint Gilloise (http://www.soccerway.com/teams/belgium/royal-union-st-gilloise/266/) . I've been a few time this season and last and they play some quite good football and have a decent set of fans. They do a great chant involving fans and players when they win a home game too (https://twitter.com/niels_robin/status/678312654029631488).
