Blimey - that "Where can Poyet go?" thread has done alright for itself.

I can only assume it has some keywords in it that rank highly in Google.

I'd guess you're probably right. The forum community I work for has some threads like that - very low post counts, but enormous view counts. Looked into a couple of them and found some keywords where the threads rank #1 on Google ... hence the high view counts.

- What are the criteria for a thread being placed into NSC Gold?

At last glance the JC thread now has a view count of 444,083 thus meaning it's moved up two places in the last 45 mins or so and now has the 5th highest view count in the history of NSC.

I can take credit for at least 60 of these. Not sure this is what my boss calls a productive day but I'm working hard are getting this up towards number 1. Proper hard work
