If you bought them from someone like that, you should have realised they were either going to be stolen goods or cheap counterfeit knock-offs. Therefore the fact that they turned out to be faulty should have come as no surprise.

Maybe take the laces out and replace them with a new set or go to a reputable shoe shop? Hope this helps.
