So has anyone bought yet? I spent most of childhood trying to be Elite or become an Imperial Prince. Had a look at some trailers looks ok....

its ruddy maverllous. its a vast game thats every bit as good and obviously visually superior to the old. havent had time to try the Horizons land mode yet, i could pass on that anyway (got it as an ealier backer). get a decent joystick, thurstmaster 16000, or HOTAS T.Flight X, or Logitech extreme 3d pro for under £50 to really enjoy, keyboard or joypad is poor.

It looks glorious and it'll probably really come in to its own when all the VR headsets launch this year
