Richly deserved. There will never be another as good as AP McCoy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Andy Murray is knighted in the New Year's honours, although slagging off Worthing was harsh.

As an aside to the list, I was looking up the 'Companions of Honour'. Any particular reason why there isn't one Labour politician on the existing list? Seems there can only ever be 65 with the honour and there's about 10 Conservatives, Lord Owen (well former Labour) Ming and Paddy.
