The Age Of Innocence Is Not Yet Dead

Last night I took my seven year old grandson (and his dad) to the Ipswich game. So there we were sat in the West Upper and said grandson lapping up the action and the ambience. At the end of the match, and a lot of you saw this, an Ipswich player was giving their fans the big fist pumping nonsense. Quite rightly, this annoyed many a subdued Albion fan in our midst.

Cue a response from one of our faithful followers who bellowed out - " You f*****g w****r! W****r! W****r!", and a few other choice expletives. Brilliant!

Now for the hard bit. This was all in front of little grandson who didn't bat an eyelid but turned to his Dad and said " Why is that player a f*****g WAFER?"

So there you have it. A new addition to the Anglo-Saxon lexicon of swear words for opposition tw*ts, useless refs and incompetent linos - YOU F*****G WAFER!!!

That's an ice-cream based coincidence indeed, as I think I heard someone near me calling him a F******g CONE.
