Inspired by the excellent Brechin City thread I thought I would share this very short film I shot at Arbroath last season. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time.



I really enjoy lower league Scottish football and it had long been my ambition to go to Arbroaths ground which is right on the beach on the North sea coast. And my visit was well worth it. Lovely pub over the road. Good game. Friendly locals. Highly recommended.

You were certainly right when you said it was a short clip. Nine seconds?

Since I was quite young I've always followed the results of the Gable Endies, Arbroath's near neighbours Montrose.

I hope to get up there and see them one day.

Ahhh hence the connection. Don't know why l was attracted to them, I just liked the name l think. Then when Doug Rougvie took over as manager for a while, l became even more keen lol.

The Queen lives in a house called Buckingham Palace but that doesn't mean she yearns to get down to Selhurst! (or even Buckingham Town).

Aren't we supposed to follow East Stirlingshire?
