Now there's one old rocker that shouldn't still be alive... see Keith Richards

That's scary. Not the fact that the first time I saw Motorhead was over half my lifetime ago. It's the fact that the first time I saw Motorhead was over half Lemmy's lifetime ago...

Yes, Hawkwind at the time of "Silver Machine"

That be would yer actual Space Ritual Tour in which case much respect!

Unbelievably (given the band) he was kicked out in 1975 for drug use.

My first Motorhead gig was Manchester Free Trade Hall 1978, the Tour they had loads of hearing aid adverts in the Programme.

And yes my ears rang for a couple of days afterwards...

Legend. Does anyone recall a comedy sketch (can't remember when or who) which featured an angelic (or as close to it as he can do) playing violin in a string quartet? ...Forget that, I could always Google it!

Very fine ad all round in my view

Don't remember ever seeing that before - thanks for sharing.

First saw Motorhead in 1985 at their 10th Birthday Party at the Hammy O and last time was at the Brighton Centre for the 35th Anniversary tour (with Herr Tubthumper)
