I hope Mrs Browns Boys is on.

Surely one of the funniest programmes ever commissioned.

It is!

It has filled the mantle left by My Family as the nations favourite sitcom.

Well, yes.

Congratulations by the way. This is a magnificent example of your favourite post, championing the banal to vaguely comical affect. Sadly though, you've missed off the Queens speech. Schoolboy error.

None of the above.

Will probably have a blu-ray or two to stick on, if we're not embroiled in Jenga or something.

I think the TIVO box is going to take a bit of a hammering over xmas, a good chance to get the spare capacity back up again.

That listing is such a pile of shite, a sad indictment of the viewing tastes of the great British public (assuming the programmers have got it right of course) - and where is "The Great Escape"??? The only time the tv will be on round here is for a celebratory showing of "Cinema Paradiso" after lunch - cue lots of smiles and tissues and a warm internal glow!!

I have not looked yet but, having to spend Christmas with Mrs V's family will mean a diet of crap TV. the only thing I usually look forward to is Dr Who and that's usually spoilt by people chatting while I try and listen forlornly. for me it looks like I'm stuck with Strictly,Downtown, Midwife, and Enders. If I'm really unlucky I might get stuck with that pratt Carr. Its going to be a horrible Christmas.

As Monty Brewster would say, "none of the above"

However, Mrs P will no doubt be glued to Paul O'Grady, Downton, Call The Midwife, Strictly and all the soaps

Zero, we don't have the google box on at Christmas; although we do set up a fairly impressive recording schedule!
