apart from the monumental and improbable engineering feat, if there was willingness to allow people in at will, you could run a ferry service or even pay people for a flight straight to Germany for far, far less cost. reckon you could pay for ~500million migrants for the cost.

Nice bridge but stop benefits/job seekers allowance in the UK first , that will soon get people out to work to fill all these jobs , we had some girl in last week for a job in a warehouse/workshop , she didn't take it because she thought it was too noisy ? FFS !!!!!
