Murphy against Bolton - 2 points dropped
Greer against Derby in the penalty area with 2 mins to go - 2 points dropped
Dunk v QPR when already on a yellow - 2 points dropped

The other 3 teams around us have conceded 12, 13 and 14 goals this season, we`ve conceded 20, but some of those extra goals are down to ill-advised or reckless challenges at inopportune moments to say the least.

Stand your ground, get in their face but stay on your feet, try and block their pass/shots, anything! just don't go in with the sliders, especially when you are already on a yellow or in the penalty area.

We`ve got a card happy ref today too and playing one of the meanest defences, so no room for error.

C`mon lads, you can do it! We are unbeaten and can go top again today and yet the bookies are now in the last hr offering nearly 2-1 for the home win, we can make that look a big mistake today, C`mon!

If they don't know that you defend at the near post by staying on your feet and guiding the player away from goal (QPR first goal error - defender on his arse) and not sliding into a player going nowhere( Derby penalty) then I have to question what they do all week in training.

Not to mention that perfect Dunk sliding tackle against QPR that took the ball off the opponent's foot just as he was through one-on-one and about to shoot, thus saving an almost certain goal.

Or the perfect sliding tackle by Dunk against Derby that prevented a tap in for Tom Ince

(I'd bet we have stopped far more goals than it's cost us by sliding in, giving us a higher points total and helping keep us unbeaten)

Unfair on Murphy who slipped.

Greer's slide was to try to stop a potentially very dangerous cross from very close to the by-line and had he stayed on his feet, then he would have had no chance to block it as he'd be too far back.

It's a sign of a very committed team that will do anything to try to stop the opposition from scoring.
