Inigo Calderon has backed Albion’s fringe men to play their part in the promotion push.
The Seagulls are forced into another defensive change in today’s table-topping clash at home to Middlesbrough, with Lewis Dunk banned after his red card at QPR on Tuesday.
Uwe Huenemeier, pictured, replaces Dunk at centre-half, the German’s first start for six weeks.
Calderon continues to fill in at left-back.
He told The Argus: “All the players here know it’s a difficult season with a lot of games and you know you are going to have your chance.

“That’s important, because sometimes you lose your head because you want to play games and you maybe start thinking you want to go somewhere else.“It’s important your mind is focused on the team because always you have your chance and after it’s up to you to take it and use it to keep your place.”
Albion have used 23 players in the Championship so far this season, a figure which is set to climb in January when Irish midfield capture Richie Towell becomes available and further signings are planned.
