    Records Unbeaten Again - Why not?

    So here is the post war second tier unbeaten records starting with :
    1 Reading 33 unbeaten in 2005-6
    2 Coventry 25 unbeaten 1966-7
    3 Middlesbrough 24 unbeaten in 1973-4
    4 West Ham 23 unbeaten in 1990 (2 in previous season) 21 unbeaten from start of season 1990-1
    Equal 5th Brighton current 22 unbeaten 2015 (1 previous season)
    Tottenham 22 in 1948-9
    Watford 22 in 1996-7

    All time 2nd tier record we are equal 6th:
    Reading 33
    Swansea (1925-7) 28
    Coventry 25
    Middlesbrough & Bristol C (1905-6) 24
    West Ham 23
    Tottenham, Watford, Brighton 22

    Finally we are equal 18th out of current 92 clubs for best ever unbeaten run in league history
    Palace could only make 18 matches in 1969 in Div 2
    Southampton 19 in 1920
    Bournemouth 18 in 1982
    Portsmouth 15 in 1924
