Brighton & Hove Albion women’s manager James Marrs wants his team to end the year on a high when they host Tottenham Hotspur at Culver Road on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.

It is Albion’s last game of 2015 ahead of the festive break, before Marrs’s side host Luton Town in an SSE FA Women’s Cup second round tie on Sunday 10th January.

He told seagulls.co.uk, “It’s essential that we pick up another three points on Sunday to continue our recent upturn in form.

“Our results have been very pleasing in the last few weeks and I’m delighted to see us keep clean sheets in each of our last four games.

“But Tottenham are going to provide us with a very difficult test and our last few matches against them have been very closely contested.

“They have had some inconsistent results, but we know how good a team they can be on their day.”

“We will have to be at our very best to get the three points, but I’m confident we’ll be raring to go come kick-off.”

The match takes place at the Sussex County FA Headquarters at Culver Road, BN15 9AX on Sunday 20th December , kick-off 2pm. Admission is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for Albion season-tickets holders and under-16s.
