For me , I doubt it.

They were decent singers to a backing tape and good looking, sure enough.

But the X factor today? Surely not.

The Nol's wouldn't in this century.... tastes have changed a bit since Brucey & Tarby dominated saturday night telly. Bit like saying could Nick Nick jim Davidson introduce the comedy roadshow instead of Michael Mcintyre actually neither are funny so maybe...............

Absolutely genuine question.

They did well and earned shedloads but the question remains.

Would they have done so had they gone through the X factor process?

The X Factor's a good way of judging talent? Geez, The Beatles wouldn't have got past the first round. A show for muppets, designed by muppets, voted on by muppets...........
