Fury up for 'hybrid' MMA bout
http://www.skysports.com/share/10093073
Was pleased he won the boxing heavyweight title but now his antics are starting get really silly. It's hardly MMA if you want some "hybrid" rules where you can't be taken to the ground. And based on his logic could it not be argued that boxers are basically fighters who know nothing about judo, karate, wrestling and ju jitsu!
Conceivably he might just have a punchers chance early doors against the likes of Velasquez and Werdum but with no take down defence they would soon be choking him out unconscious of having him yelp like like a baby to release a ju jitsu submission hold. Let's not forget what happened to Brock Lesnar when he switched from pantomime WWE to MMA. Initially his sheer physicality worked out but then he came up short on technique and the basic of not actually liking punches to his face!
