Claimed she received a death threat in response to voting to bomb Syria. Turned out she had pasted another email on to the end of another one. She claims it was an illustration of the type of email she receives. Others claim she was defaming someone to promote her own case????

A few MP's have had death threats http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-35022119

Mr Danczuk said his staff received more than 100 calls from people complaining about his decision to vote for air strikes, and some of these were also threatening.
He said comments from Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, shadow chancellor John McDonnell and former London mayor Ken Livingstone had "given licence" to people at grassroots level to intimidate MPs who voted for airstrikes against so-called Islamic State in Syria.

Justification then to invent one and defame an innocent man in the process. #torylogic

My question is: if she was really getting death threats, why not post one of the ones she'd received, rather than making one up? Or has she in fact not received any herself? Happy for her to highlight these despicable acts, but this was a despicable way of doing it. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Quite simple this one.
Just because there are death threats flying around, its still not an excuse to do what she did whether out of frustration or other reasons.

poor judgement by her,she should get a right royal bollocking at the very least, probably be sacked tbh. No excuse to bring yourself down to the level of those abusing MP`s.

Thanks for the info. If the facts are as they appear then yes very poor judgement although not quite on the same level as threatening to kill someone.

No, and I would expect the law to pursue people who have to the full extent. Question is, is accusing someone of threatening to kill when they in fact did no such thing, a criminal offence, or a civil one?
