Was on the verge of writing him off (with regret)as an England T20 cricketer after his very poor series against Pakistan and a pretty dreadful performance in the game yesterday.......whereupon he pulled out that match-winning final over. Could these 6 deliveries have saved his international career?

I think you may be right, such a frustrating cricketer, got all the talent in the world but a concentration span of a gnat. David Willey looks very similar, not literally.

Yep. So talented but always seems to frustrate. One can hope that that match winning over might give him the confidence to kick on and realise his talent.

As a bowler perhaps - but of course Sussex followers can testify to Willey's destructive power with the bat.

What a final over it was! He definitely has potential as a death bowler, I hope he kicks on from this.
