So, it's 2.30 in Saturday at the Amex and in between the Richard Reynolds links and the odd interview there is the opportunity to play 3 or 4 songs before Fanzone kicks in and the teams come out.

What songs would play that would start to get the fans going, you know the ones everyone sings or hums along to? A bit like the half hour before the Donny game.

Go....

The Gambler - Kenny Rogers
It's on a plate for us as a tribute to Tony

(& it has been used as an England sporting teams singalong, so has a track record as a crowd pleaser)

Have You Ever Seen The Rain - CCR (a video montage of Withdean era highlights will play on the screens at the same time)
Baba O'Riely - The Who (another video montage of our greatest moments, whoever does ours needs to watch the UFC video that uses this song, that's how you do a highlights video)

How about

Queen - We Will Rock You
Robbie Williams - Let Me Entertain You
Queen - We Are The Champions (lol)

And finally, at just before kick off

James - Sit Down

This is probably the shittiest 3 songs I've ever had the displeasure to hear, I can only assume I'm being whooshed here as no one can possibly think this would make great pre match football music, as it is total ****ing shite, honestly. As for James, (which is ok) that's the sort of ****ing stunt you'd expect at Wembley or Old Trafford or somewhere else Sky are trying to rip the heart out of the atmosphere.

Like I say, I might have missed the irony here, I ****ing hope so

Irony, almost as ironic as coming onto the Rocky Theme, like we did back in the day!!!

Glad you spotted it.

The James Sit Down, just before kick off should have been a big enough hint it was all tongue in cheek!!!
