It has to be said that the other teams around us seem to keep mucking up whilst we steam on steadily.

1 decent striker on loan and were up as champions. Besides. This is the first year in the last 7 that I haven't got a score on us going up as champs. Therefore it is nailed on.

Optimistic me said promotion via playoffs..

I do believe we are one good signing away from being serious automatic promotion contenders though.

After 36 games last year the top two were Derby and Middlesborough.

We have got almost no chance of being promoted.

I think we'll get promoted via the play-offs. My glass is half full etc.

We're better prepared for the play-offs than we were for the past 2. I think we can get to Wembley, at least.

Although I reserve the right to change my opinion if we get one of the South American strikers we're after.

We seem to lack that cutting edge to remain top 2 and there are a load of teams all with a shout at the playoffs. We need Bong back as soon as possible.
