I was hoping for some experimentation from 'The Next Day.' Clearly he was saving it for this, for some reason I think it's got a Scott Walker feel about it.

Some people like pop hits Bowie, some people like him when he's a bit out there.

Personally I like both but I found 'The Next Day' a little straight forward.

Gave it a good 3:30 or so but not really up to much for me. Same sort of thing Radiohead were doing a while back when they were still good but with less direction.

(to be fair, Bowie was probably doing it before Radiohead in the 70s :thumbsup:

Didn't bother with Heathen or The Next Day but really enjoyed this. If this is any indicator then the album is going to be brilliant.
