Hi all,

I have been contacted by Sky Sports to get some Albion fans involved in a bit of activity on Sunday.

They are trying to make football better for fans (?) and they want to look after 3 of you on Sunday at the match because you've travelled so far to see us draw 0-0 or whatever.

This include;

- Free tickets
- Watch the game on a sofa in the away end
- Get fresh pizza delivered to you at half time

Sky want to film it for some little bits and bobs too but more details to people who are interested.

DM me with your mobile number and your name and I'll pass on to the marketing firm who are trying to sort it. They seem like a nice bunch.

Cheers,

Sam

Ha! The ****ing irony!
"They are trying to make football better for fans"...

Yep, doing a wonderful job of that with Sunday afternoon kickoffs the other end of the country!

Wankers!

No wonder football is DYING with STUPIDITY like this

Quite.

When will those wankers realise that in the case of Norf v Sarf (or vice versa) they really shouldnt **** about with KO times/dates.

Wait till Burnley v Preston or Blackburn for example so fans are not inconvenienced. I know thats out the box thinking.

As tempting as that isn't.... No thanks.

If Sky want to deliver a free sofa to my front room, and a large pizza at half time, I'd be up for that.

A free ticket for a future game would be lovely too. But no prawn sandwich shenanigans.

Cringeworthy marketing horseshit. When I saw they had a 'fan sofa' at the Valley was amazed that anyone could think that it would be a good idea...

Know several people who were contacted by Sky last week about this - known of whom could go because Sky had ****ed around with the kick off time and day in the first place

....it's like an armchair fan, who's really at the game,
it's like a free pass when you've already paid,
it's like having a shit, on the sport that you love
and who would have thought it figures....

How about they pay for the train fares of everyone who had already booked for the Saturday instead?

Mr Play it safe, watched the footy at home
He packed his half and half scalf, kissed his kids goodbye
He waited his whole damn life just to watch that match
And as the game started, he thought isn't this nice
And isn't it ironic, don't you think?

I cancelled my sky subscription because of this game. I had booked rail tickets . When they contacted me to try and convince me to stay, I told the woman the reason and she basically said "Oh Well"! I ****ing hate Sky!
